IEEE Photonics Journal
IEEE Photonics is an online-only journal dedicated to the rapid disclosure of top-quality peer-reviewed research at the forefront of all areas of photonics. The journal offers a platform for the publication of short and extensive papers. With the use of a streamlined copyediting process, accepted papers are expected to be published online in IEEE Xplore within 4-5 weeks of final decision.
Journal Scope
IEEE Photonics seeks contributions addressing issues ranging from fundamental understanding to emerging technologies and applications are within the scope of the journal. Topics include:
